Backpack (large enough for folders – NOT a rolling backpack)
1 rest mat (for example- slim red and blue “Kindermat”)
1 small blanket for nap time
1 box 24 count crayons (regular size, not fat)
1 box washable markers
1 set watercolor paint
4 glue sticks
1 bottle liquid Elmer’s glue (it’s just better!)
2 boxes tissues
1 box sandwich size baggies (girls) / 1 box gallon size baggies (boys)
1 set of dry erase markers
Velcro shoes – We recommend that your child wear Velcro shoes everyday to school. There
is mulch on the playground, and children need to be able to dump their shoes often. Flip flops
and open-toed style shoes/sandals are not recommended for safety purposes. Tennis shoes
are strongly recommended every day for recess.
Optional: 1 small stuffed animal
Diapers/Pullups/Wipes - specific to students that teacher/parent have discussed bathroom needs
Kindergarten
Each individual kindergarten teacher may request a few additional supplies for her specific classroom needs.
