Bedford County Public Schools’ Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)
The Bedford County Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) is comprised of parents of eligible students who receive special education and/or related services and reside in the division; other interested persons from the community, and educators in the field who have an interest in special education. This committee provides advice concerning the needs of children with disabilities receiving special education services and assists in the formulation and development of services and planning to meet these needs.
Bedford’s SEAC Meetings are open to the public and public comments are welcome and limited to three minutes per person for a maximum length of twenty minutes.**
The Special Education Advisory Committee meetings are scheduled as follows for the 2024-25 school year:
